| Minor Midget & Midget Scholorships AwardEach year, the Senators will award a $500 scholorship to a player from the Minor Midget and Midget teams who demonstrates excellence in their academic achievements.

| The Pierre James Memorial Award In honour of a former Senator coach and friend, The Pierre James Memorial Award (in the amount of $500.00) will be annually presented to a Senator Bantam player who best exemplifies dedication, perseverence and a competitive spirit during the hockey season.

This award has been established by the Mississauga Senators Hockey Club in recognition of the late Mr. Howard Pallett. Mr. Pallett was the founder of the Dixie Beehives Junior Hockey Club that operated from 1954 to 1986. His volunteer
work greatly developed minor hockey in the Mississauga area.
His grandson Kevin Rutledge has continued this passion through his coaching of various teams with the Mississauga Senators and his dedication with the executive of the Senator Hockey Club. The Dixie Beehive Award in the amount of $500.00 will be presented annually ‘to a player, or coach, or volunteer, or parent who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.’
